Fulfilling Our Mission
From the onset of conceptualizing the Enviva Forest Conservation Fund, our desire has been to protect tens of thousands of acres of bottomland hardwood forests in North Carolina and Virginia. In the first four years we have committed $1,935,000 to seventeen projects that will protect approximately 24,881 acres of ecologically sensitive areas, while managing many of those acres to conserve working forests.
